It's a class with 3 very viable specs (2 of them being bis for the role in the whole game) and can choose to play literally every role.

Sep 13, 2022 · Most people who would've been interested in leveling fresh are already doing so and would likely be unwilling to restart on a new fresh server. We need to split up the Skyfury population so the queue times are not so overwhelming. Seems like allowing these players to freely migrate to a new fresh server would have been good, no?

People who couldn’t deal with that had options to play elsewhere, but now instead they’ve just ruined fresh for everybody who rolled Angerforge, have diluted the Skyfury population, and we may end up with lopsided factions.

The servers will be Skyfury for the North American region, and Thekal for the European region. These realms will be released August 30th and August 31st respectively, alongside the WotLK Classic pre-patch.

You already have to have a character on benediction to boost or create a new character. This is the first time blizz has locked realms because of a population issue. Normally it's regularly described and communicated to the player base when something is turned on and turned off, along with reasons.
